Before you is a 1969 Plymouth GTX tribute. The GTX was an absolute street beast back in the day and this car is a fine example of that beast. The Plumb Crazy Purple paint and black stripes are absolutely miles deep. Nowand#44; we know that this color was first introduced in 1970 and Plymouth actually called it In-Violetand#44; but it looks absolutely stunning on this car. The fit and finish are absolutely stellar and if you saw it at a showand#44; and especially if you are a Mopar nutand#44; then you just have to run over and take a look at this car.</p> <p>Now that you have walked around and just about ready to drool all over itand#44; you ask to pop the hood. When you doand#44; you see a glorious 440 stuffed between the fenders. To some people they liked this motor better than the Hemiand#44; but that argument is for another day. Noand#44; this car was not born with the 440 you seeand#44; but this is a tribute to the type that you could have purchased back in the day. This motor has had about 10and#44;000 miles on it since this car was done. Soand#44; the miles you see on the odometer is what is really on the chassis. We know that you can hardly contain yourself at this point. You have to run around and open that driver door and get ready to have the time of your life in this car.</p> <p>Nowand#44; you open that big door and slide yourself in to the extremely comfortable bench seatand#44; yes not everything in the muscle car era had bucketsand#44; and get yourself ready to let this baby loose. You look around and get yourself familiar with everythingand#44; and as you will see in the picsand#44; everything is in great shape. No rips or tears in the dash or headlinerand#44; and all of the gauges are easy to read. Soand#44; give that gas pedal a couple of pumps and hit that key. You are now having a hard time wiping that ear to ear grin off of your face as you hear that 440 come to life through the Flowmaster exhaust underneath.
