PLYMOUTH: 1968 Hurst Hemi BO 29 Super Stock. Mopar experts say it is one of the best remaining. Govier authentication, original fender tag and copy for shows, the former owner registered car thus it is titled as well. Used for show only post restoration.</p><p>February of andrsquo;68 build, #75 of total run of mixed SS Dart andamp; Barracudas. This car is unique in that it is largely unused from new. Never caged or tubbed thus from andrsquo;70 on it was NHRA not allowed to run due no cage.. Unibody, floors and torque boxes not twisted andamp; bent like A bodies raced without a cage. Original black rear carpet under large rear window unfaded, floors have factory primer, no rust andamp; original taillight plastic perfect. History from andrsquo;80 known but andrsquo;68 delivery to andrsquo;80 unknown. Apparently car was stored. 8 andfrac34; diff with factory HD drag axels remain. Lightweight door andamp; side glass replaced with street glass for shows. Have rear lightweight glass.</p><p>Owned by the Hemi Club President for many years, in magazines and pictured painted yellow in Hemi book prior to complete black paint restoration. Also featured post restoration in Mopar 2006 calendar. Very correct, has won many shows and Concours, in # 1 condition and needs nothing. Correct date coded wiring, original blue coil. Hidden MSD 6 ign replaced dead blue box ign but have original unit. Period correct SW oil andamp; temp gages and correct Jones mechanical tach. Brake cyl bores stainless bushed, correct Hurst dual gate shifter (rare andamp; expensive), interior excellent, period 2 1/8 Hooker headers now ceramic coated, dual 3 stainless track exhaust added for shows.</p><p>Last owner bought car in yellow as in HEMI book, started full restoration, had engine rebuilt, original heads pro ported andamp; flowed, Racer Brown cam, etc. than realized car was too valuable to cage andamp; race, had major medical issues andamp; sold car partially finished. Result was a strong cross ram race hemi (about 650+HP), low gear trans set, original manual 727 race trans, 5K stall race converter, original HD axel, 8 andfrac34; diff., adj pinion snubber, SS factory springs. Car used only for show post restoration. Car now has NOS Keystone mags (used on Sox andamp; Martin cars) with correct size (andrsquo;68) Good Year slicks. Full set of 1970 dated Centerlines with Firestone slicks originally on car are included. Many spare parts acquired over the years available. Stainless, grills, light lenses, dash, original steering column andamp; box (NOS box in car) available. For serious Mopar collectors will package with andrsquo;64 andfrac12; lightweight which is the best of the best. Own the 1st and last of the SS Hemi Mopars. Hemis donandrsquo;t get any better than these iconic cars and these are two of the best remaining. Serious buyers must see these cars.</p><p>
