Over the past few weeks all kinds of high-dollar builds have rolled through our doors. And the most recent addition this killer Mustang might be the nicest one yet. Its easy to see why with sinister Charcoal highlighting a supercharged 302/5-speed drivetrain a thoroughly modernized chassis and supple red leather. And in fact the amount of detail that went in to this Fords construction is simply remarkable as theres virtually no piece that hasnt been smoothed polished massaged or upgraded in some way. If youre in the market for classic good looks and spectacular modern performance this clean Ford is your best option!

BODYWORK/TRIM

The beneficiary of a professional restoration that was completed by the staff of Timeless Kustoms of Camarillo California this slick pony features a seamless layer of Charcoal base thats highlighted by a satin hood stripe and sealed in glossy clear. Take one look down the sides of the cars laser-straight body and it becomes very obvious that great care was taken to ensure every panel is aligned to better-than-factory standards. Step closer to that bodys mirror-like pigment and check out its straight and ripple-free surfaces which are a product of both clean OEM sheetmetal and high quality replacement panels. Grab the pivotal pieces of that well-adjusted sheetmetal and experience the kind of excellent fit thats right at home reflecting a summertime car show. Then step back to admire one very well done pro-tourer thats built to exacting specifications.

Back in the day Ford designers made sure every year of the first generation Mustang had plenty of visual sizzle. And in the 21st century it doesnt get much better than this drop-tops masterful combination of aggressive accents and well-placed trim. At the front of the car a monochromatic mesh grille centers HELLA driving lamps between modern headlights a Shelby-style valance and an aggressive chin spoiler. Behind that grille a shaved hood anchors a small scoop in front of polished windshield wipers tinted greenhouse glass and color-keyed stainless frames. At the sides of that glass small hot rod mirrors reflect a fully shaved profile. And at the back of that profile a shaved valence balances a color-keyed bumper between a shaved trunk flush-fit four-bar taillights and monochromatic exhaust tips.

ENGINE

Hoist the cars snug fitting hood and youll find 302 cubic inches of Ford V8 that thanks to a color-keyed Vortech supercharger twists big horsepower into gobs of stump-pulling torque! At the top of the Jet Black mill monochromatic pipes shuttle wind from a remote fender-mount air cleaner to a ceramic-coated throttle body and sleek Trick Flow intake. That wind joins fossils thanks to electronic injection which makes good uses of an Aeromotive regulator an Auto Gage pressure gauge and color-keyed fuel rails. When that air/fuel mixture floods the cylinders a proven Motorcraft distributor sequences fire through sleeved Prestolite plug wires. As that fire turns into compression resultant gases are jettisoned through ceramic-coated long-tube headers. That compressions cooling is provided by a big radiator which stores water in front of two Perma-Cool puller fans. Theres a modern serpentine system that spins a painted alternator opposite a painted AC compressor. And overall the cars glossy engine compartment is exceptionally well done featuring first rate ancillaries like a polished Kandamp;N breather clean Trick Flow valve covers sturdy shock tower bracing and a body-matched support shroud.

DRIVETRAIN/SUSPENSION

At the
