It just happens top be a 1964 Pontiac GTO Convertible. This is the first Charter Member of the GTO. As you can tell by the pictures, the first year for the Goat had beautiful lines that continued throughout its production and changed gradually over the years so you could always make a distinction between a Pontiac GTO and other makes. This GTO has been babied and is fortunate enough to maintain its original floor and trunk pans. Solid is a key word that you can put in front of everything in this description. The power top goes up and down without a hitch. The interior is in awesome shape. Red bucket seats, console automatic shift, power drivers seat and a WORKING factory clock. Also inside is an AM/FM CD Player that is stashed in the factory tissue dispenser under the dash (above the center console) close to the aftermarket gauges.<br />The engine is a 1977 stock 400ci. It also has a cast intake manifold with a 4bbl Quadrajet. HEI electronic ignition, chrome valve covers, louvered air cleaner and dual exhaust all help round out this classic.<br />The automatic transmission has been upgraded from its 2 speed auto to a later model 3-speed turbo 350 automatic.<br />Power steering, Power brakes (4-wheel drum) will help out with the driveability. Guardian tires (radials) on all 4.
