1955 Thunderbird base car. 292 automatic. Decent car that needs TLC. Solid floors and trunk. Runs and drives nicely. Needs tires, top, carpet, seat cover, wipers and air cleaner. Clean body with minimal rust. The car has shined up very well. Six volt system. This car has been in storage for many years. Its long time owner was murdered at 90 years of age and the car sat in unsecured storage where its hardtop was stolen. I have documentation for that portion of its history. Put tires on it and drive it while you make improvements. Other than a torn bottom seat and a lack of carpet, the interior is in good shape and will clean up. The car has a decent rubber trunk mat. The original engine runs smoothly and does not smoke. The car idles well when in gear and the transmission shifts as it should. The odometer reads just under 60,000 miles. This car is priced very fairly.
