1955 Ford Thunderbird Roadster a completely restored frame off Black Plate. My father bought this car from an owner in California and he has been a professional body shop owner/restorer for 50 years. The car has had a complete frame off, stock original restoration and was of course a rust free car. It is straight as they come, complete with full documentation and has only been driven aprox. 300 miles since the restoration was completed. The restoration was done about 27 years ago and the car has been in a heated, climate controlled garage since and generally trailer to events. The car is correct as i say and has been judged in a Concours setting at 97 out of 100 points. Everything works including the clock, does not currently have the correct 6 volt battery installed to Concours specifications, has a slight miss in the engine but idles perfectly.Engine was rebuilt at restoration and we know that the miss is an ignition problem Details are 100%. chrome, tires, interior, trunk, undercarriage is immaculate from non road use.
