What can we say about this 1947 Chrysler Windsor? It is a really nice car that is ready to go to the Ice Cream Shop. The mechanicals, body, and interior are in good overallcondition and are nicely appointed, this is a survivor car thatwaswell taken car of for a very long time. This Windsor is in unbelievable condition from the 251 Spitfire Straight Six that runs like a Swiss watch to the very good recovered interior to the original patina paintingood condition. Try to find a Windsor in this condition, most of them are really rusty. This car is simply cool and very easy to park! Mechanically,good condition.It starts immediately, shifts nicely with itssemi automatictransmission,and off you go. Be careful though because you will stop traffic due to people wanting to see the car. It drives, it shifts,it stops,and gets great gas mileage. The interior is in good condition overall, the seats have been recovered and look good,the headliner is in decent shape,overall good suitable condition as a weekend cruiser. The seats feel good,the dash is in great shape,andoverall you can get in and drive it to get dinner right now. The body is just as nice as the rest of the car. There are some minor nits and nats here and there, but nothing major.Everything is good to go and you can work on it as you go. If you are a fan of these cars this is not one to miss.
