1939 Cadillac LaSalle with suicide doors mounted on 1974 GMC truck frame. Has: 427cid. big-block truck motor, 9-spd Eaton trans., 5-ton rear axle, 2WD only, hydraulic power steering, Peterbuilt air-ride drivers seat, suspension pass.-seat, bronco rear-seat, 4-6inch rollcage, rear radiater with dual electric fans. Tires are: rear-48tall x 30wide, front-48tall x 25wide, off-road lights and regular headlights, air-brakes. Weighs approx.-10,700 lbs. 18-gal gas-tank. Has a couple minor problems: front drag-link between tires needs straightened, driveline-carrier bearing shot, left front shock-mount broken, electric fans need electric work-maybe just the fuse. Truck can take an awful lot of abuse! Currently runs. I am 66 in the pictures. truck about 9ft. tall and 9ft. wide. Vehicle has been operable for last 9-years.
