YOU ARE VIEWING A 1939 CADILLAC FLEETWOOD 75 CONVERTIBLE COUPE. THIS VEHICLE IS 1 OF 27 BUILT AND IS A 1ST PLACE CCCA AWARD WINNER. IT WAS ORIGINALLY OWNED BY THE HEIRS OF WILLIAM WRIGLEY, JR..; THE CHEWNG GUM MAGNATE AND OWNER OF THE CHICAGO CUBS. THE VEHICLE IS FINISHED IN EL PASO BEIGE OVER DARK BLUE LEATHER. IT HAS BEEN RESTORED BY STONE BARN RESTORATIONS. THE CAR WAS ONE PART OF DAVE KANES COLLECTION (PEBBLE BEACH WINNER). IT WAS ALSO PART OF THE FRANK RICCIARDELLI COLLECTION (ALSO A PEBBLE BEACH WINNER).THIS VEHICLE COMES WITH A CADILLAC BUILD THAT WAS PROVIDED TO US BY THE CADILLAC HISTORICAL SOCIETY. THE CADILLAC FLEETWOOD 75 WAS THE MARQUES FLAGSHIP FROM 1938 FORWARD. THE 1939 CADILLAC ADOPTED A NEW FRONTAL LOOK WITH A LAID BACK FINE TEXTURED GRILLE, FLANKED BY TWO SIDE GRILLES IN THE CATWALK AREA ON THE INNER FENDER, HOWEVER THEY WERE IDENTICAL FROM THE COWL BACK. HEADLIGHTS WERE ATTACHED TO THE RADIATOR CASING REMINISCENT OF THE PERIOD. THE INTERIOR HAS BEEN RESTORED WITH DARK BLUE LEATHER SKINS AND BLACK CANVAS CONVERTIBLE TOP AND BOOT. THE WOOD TRIM HAS BEEN RECONDITIONED LIKE NEW INCLUDING THE DASH, STEERING WHEEL, ALL INSTRUMENTATION AND TRIM APPLIQUES. OTHER FEATURES INCLUDE REAR FOLDING JUMP SEATS, CADILLAC HEATER AND ORIGINAL RADIO. THIS RARE CADILLAC WAS THE PINNACLE OF BOLD AMERICAN ART DECO DESIGN. THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL AUTOMOBILE WITH A GREAT STORY. THE FLEETWOOD BODIED CONVERTIBLE WAS 1 OF ONLY 27 BUILT IN 1939, WITH VERY FEW STILL SURVIVING TODAY. THIS IS A RARE CHANCE TO ACQUIRE A TRUE PIECE OF AUTOMOTIVE HISTORY.
