A Beautiful Restored Cadillac, Documented With Factory Build Order.</p><p>Fully restored of a documented Series 65 Sedan from GM Archives</p><p>The 38th car built of only 1,178 total manufactured of the 65 Series Sedan...</p><p>Complete restoration included professional paint work of Manchu Beige Metallic in urethane base coat clear coat, complete new interior of Tan Bedford Cord Cloth, new headliner, along with new woodgrain of door frames.</p><p>All new seals, new tires and brakes.</p><p>Rebuild of a smooth and great running Cadillac 346 CID V8, rated at 135HP</p><p>Smooth shifting 3 speed manual transmission</p><p>Equipped with factory heater, radio and wiper system</p><p>Rolling on period correct Bias Ply Wide Wall tires</p><p>All new professional chrome rework to high show standards.</p><p>Rare full running boards are separated from fenders and are entirely rubber covered with die cast streamlined ends, in each of which are five thin longitudinal vanes.</p><p>Series 65 (Custom V-8) and Series 75 (Fleetwood) shared a new front end style featuring a massive vertical cellular grille, three sets of horizontal bars on the hood sides, alligator hood, and headlights on the filler piece between fenders and hood. Optional sidemount covers were hinged to the fenders. Quarter windows were of sliding rather than hinged construction. Rear of bodies had rounder corners and more smoothly blended lines; trunks had more appearance of being an integral part of the body.</p><p>New chassis details included:</p><p>Column gear shift</p><p>horns just behind grille</p><p>battery under right hand side of hood</p><p>transverse muffler just behind fuel tank</p><p>wheels by different manufacturer (not interchangeable with 1937)</p><p>Synchro-Flex flywheel hypoid rear axle on all series</p><p></p><p>This is a consignment vehicle and the information above was provided by the current owner.
