Shatterproof Security Plate glass in all windows was an important safety feature in 1929. The newly designed four-wheel Duplex-mechanical brakes required less pedal pressure for surer stops. The fitting of double-acting Delco hydraulic shock absorbers enhanced both handling and ride. To accommodate drivers and passengers of all sizes, Cadillac installed fully adjustable front seats. There was also an increase in power; Cadillacandrsquo;s smooth 341 cubic inch V8 was fitted with a new Cadillac/Johnson float-feed carburetor and produced 90 brake horsepower.

This 7-passenger Touring Cadillac is a nice original example that has been recently rebuilt mechanically and painted. It mainly remains all original on the underside and interior. It has a rear Tonneau windscreen for the rear passenger and of course jump seats for the extra passengers. The original side curtainandrsquo;s are still in the bag under the front seat.

Looking closely at the pictures, you will see the original Fisher body stamps in the wood sills showing this to be a true numbers matching, hence the stampings on the sill match the firewall tag.

Engine number is322910which is correct for 1929. Mileage shows 43,300.

The Cadillac was sold new by Inglis M. Uppercu at the Uppercu Cadillac Building in Manhattan, New York as per the dealer tag on the rear of the car.

Additional pictures can be found at<a href=\
